Pulmonary Rehab

Getting you back to your best, FASTER!

Pulmonary Rehab is a structured exercise program designed for those with restrictive or obstructive lung disease.

Patients are monitored at every session for safety, oxygen levels and heart rhythm to ensure they are exercising at an appropriate intensity. These exercises will strengthen your muscles, improve your stamina and condition your heart and lungs, so oxygen can be utilized more effectively. Designed to reduce further problems and promote a healthy lifestyle, our Pulmonary Rehab programs provide a path toward better health.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is offered Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm.

A typical program lasts approximately 10 weeks, but length of your program may vary depending on your insurance provider. A physician referral is required. Pulmonary Rehab is covered by most insurance companies and Medicare.

How is it determined if I need respiratory or pulmonary therapy?
One test is the Pulmonary Function Test (PFT) which is a noninvasive test that measures lung volume, capacity, rates of flow, and gas exchange. This information can help diagnose and decide the treatment of certain lung disorders, including respiratory therapy.
