Here For Our Community—
Alexandria Janssen, NP-C
"I love where I work because of the people that I work with and the community that I serve! Being from a small town, I know patients and families value the time you spend with their loved ones.
I, too, value the personal connection we create that makes seeing a familiar face while in the ER, a little less scary. I want those in the community to know who I am and recognize a familiar face when they come to the ER."

Growing up in Crofton, a small Nebraska town just south of Yankton, South Dakota, Alex enjoyed small-town living with her four younger siblings. Active in athletics during high school, she knew nursing was in her future. She attended Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa and obtained her BSN.
After graduation, she took a nursing position in the Emergency Room at the Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She continued her education, receiving a Master's Degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Currently, she works in the Emergency Department at Saunders Medical Center.

"What I love most about my profession is the positive patient outcomes that come from the care that I provide. My hope is that those who do see me recognize a familiar face and receive the quality care patient care they deserve."
