Elizabeth Page, RN
My name is Elizabeth Page, I was born and raised in Omaha, NE. I currently live in Gretna, NE and commute to SMC.
During high school my dad was diagnosed with cancer, which made me appreciate healthcare workers. That's when I decided I wanted to be a nurse. I went to nursing school at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and graduated in 2006 with a BSN—I was the first in my family to receive a college degree, so that was such an accomplishment for me!
I started my nursing career in the operating room at Children's Hospital and shortly after began working in preop and recovery where I originally wanted to start. I left Children's and started working at an outpatient surgery center in Omaha. After, I decided I wanted to further my knowledge in other surgeries, and that's when I began working at Lakeside Surgery Center. I have had many surgical experiences with ENT, Ortho, Plastics, General, Podiatry, and Pain management. After having our second child, and with my husband traveling more for work, that's when I decided to look elsewhere with more flexibility. That lead me to SMC. I currently work casually in pre/pacu at and help with specialty clinic. I still also work casually at Lakeside Surgery Center in Omaha.
SMC has been great to work for! I love the small facility. I feel patients receive more one on one care compared to a large hospital. SMC has been a breath of fresh air for me every time I come out to work:)
I am married with two children, and we are very busy with our daughter's gymnastics, and our very busy young boy.
I look forward to providing the best care for you...as if you were family!
