Cortney joined Saunders Medical Center as an Occupational Therapist in 2011. Cortney brings with her many years of experience working in acute, subacute and long-term care pediatric and acute care settings; as well as experience with pediatric and special needs clients. Cortney enjoys providing education about occupational therapy services to our community schools, and getting to know Saunders County residents.
Occupational Therapy includes upper extremity strength coordination and ADL (activities of daily living) retraining, such as dressing, showering, cooking, etc. She also makes recommendations for home/environmental adaptations to permit patients to remain at home longer.
