Emergency Preparedness Drill
Saunders Medical Center will conduct a full-scale emergency drill simulating a tornado that is required every year by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services on Thursday, October 12th. Area first responders will participate in this drill. You will see emergency vehicle activity at the hospital during this time – THIS IS ONLY A DRILL.
Preparations for the drill will begin at 12:00pm with the drill scheduled to start at 1:50p.m. and conclude no later than 3 p.m.
The drill location will be at both South Haven Living Center and Saunders Medical Center. Mock victims will be at the site for first responders to practice and at the hospital for hospital staff and providers to practice.
This drill will NOT affect scheduled appointments, procedures or emergency services.
