Job Overview

Join the Saunders Medical Center team as a Radiologic Technologist and make a difference in the lives of patients throughout our community. Saunders Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Tech to perform radiologic procedures and support the Imaging Services team. This position provides quality patient care while following established safety, regulatory, and radiation protection standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures and assigned imaging activities.
• Apply knowledge of radiology equipment, procedures, anatomy, positioning, exposure factors, and radiation safety.
• Follow state and federal regulations and professional standards for Radiologic Technologists.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, safety, infection control, and compliance requirements.
• Participate in required training, quality improvement, and safety programs.
• Work assigned schedules and participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Support a professional, respectful, team-oriented environment and effectively communicate with patients and visitors.

Qualificiations

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification.
• Nebraska certification as a Medical Radiographer.
• Ability to make sound decisions and perform effectively in emergent situations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced certification or experience in CT, MRI, Mammography, DEXA, or Ultrasound is preferred.
