Job Overview
Provide nursing care to clinic patients under the supervision of the Clinic Nurse Supervisor. This position provides patient care, assists providers, administers medications and treatments, and supports preventive and ongoing healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care, treatments, and procedures within scope of practice.
- Prepare, administer, and document medications as directed.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to providers.
- Document patient calls, messages, education, and care accurately in the EMR.
- Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
- Obtain and document vital signs and provide appropriate patient education.
- Support preventive care, health maintenance, immunization tracking, and patient compliance.
- Maintain infection control, patient safety, HIPAA, and regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality improvement and Patient Centered Medical Home initiatives.
Qualificiations
Required Qualifications
- Current Nebraska RN license.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to communicate effectively and provide compassionate care to those we serve and work with.
Preferred Qualifications
- One year of clinic experience preferred.
