Cortney Kleffner, OTR/L
Cortney joined Saunders Medical Center as an Occupational Therapist in 2011.
Occupational therapy includes upper extremity strength coordination and ADL (activities of daily living) retraining, such as dressing, showering, cooking, etc. She also makes recommendations for home/environmental adaptations to permit patients to remain at home longer. Cortney received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Creighton University, and she has obtained additional training in cognitive/dementia rehabilitation; sensory integration of pediatrics; and kinesiotaping.
Cortney brings with her many years of experience working in acute, subacute and long-term care pediatric and acute care settings; as well as experience with pediatric and special needs clients. Cortney enjoys providing education on occupational therapy services to our community schools, and getting to know Saunders County residents.
Her hobbies include scrapbooking, yoga and reading. She and her husband, Mike, live in Wahoo with their two children, Logan and Alana.
