I love that I get to be involved in both pharmaceutical and investigator initiated research at SMC and that I get to be in the clinic and meet with patients as well as in the lab working with samples. I feel like I get the best of both worlds: clinical research and laboratory research.

B.S. in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from UNO
M.S. in Biology with an emphasis on Genetics from UNO
Currently in PhD program for patient oriented research at UNMC

Personal Life
Living in Omaha where Sam was born and raised, she has been married since August 2012. They have two young daughters. Sam went to Omaha North High School and enjoys spending time with my family, playing volleyball and reading in her spare time!
